Shipper/PackerWe are seeking a reliable, hardworking Shipper/Packer to join our manufacturing and logistics team. This position is responsible for accurately packaging finished products, verifying orders, and preparing materials for shipment.The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires consistency, accuracy, teamwork, and a strong commitment to product quality and protection.All candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.Essential ResponsibilitiesPackage finished units and assembled systems according to established standards.Apply protective packaging materials to prevent scratches, dents, damage, and other shipping-related issues.Verify products, quantities, configurations, and work orders before packaging and shipment.Match physical products to work orders and shipping documentation.Ensure all required materials and products are packaged together correctly.Document the shipping and packaging process as required.Submit completed products to Quality for final inspection.Label, organize, and stage products and materials for shipment.Meet daily and hourly production targets.Support overall production needs as assigned.Immediately report discrepancies, damaged products, or other issues to the supervisor.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Follow all PPE, safety, and ISO standards and procedures.Properly use and maintain packaging equipment and tools.Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.Qualifications & RequirementsAbility to independently lift up to 40+ lbs. and team-lift up to 60+ lbs.Ability to stand and remain physically active for 8+ hours.Ability to read and understand work orders and shipping documentation.Basic math skills.Ability to inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.Comfortable using packaging tools and equipment, including cutters, label machines, computers, and cameras.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good verbal and written communication skills.Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.Ability to maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.Reliable attendance and work history preferred.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.What We're Looking ForHardworking and dependableDetail-oriented and accuratePositive, team-oriented attitudeWillingness to learn new processes and equipmentStrong sense of accountability for quality and productivityReliable and punctualSafety-consciousWork EnvironmentFast-paced manufacturing and shipping environmentPhysically active positionRegular use of packaging tools, equipment, and materialsRequires standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive movement throughout the workdayTeam-oriented environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivityNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
