Aircraft TechnicianSeeking skilled Aircraft Technicians to support heavy maintenance, repair, modification, and inspection activities on commercial aircraft in a large MRO environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft while performing maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.Commercial aircraft experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with military aviation or other fixed-wing maintenance backgrounds are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications.Remove, install, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems and components.Conduct structural repairs on fuselage, wings, flight controls, and related assemblies.Inspect, repair, and replace hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and technical data.Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in compliance with FAA requirements.Support heavy maintenance and overhaul projects on commercial aircraft.Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.QualificationsRequiredFAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) License3+ years of aircraft maintenance experienceAbility to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentationStrong troubleshooting and repair skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced maintenance environmentPreferred (Not Required)Commercial aircraft maintenance experienceHeavy maintenance or MRO experienceExperience working on Boeing or Airbus aircraftWide-body aircraft maintenance experienceThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, AZ.The pay range for this position is $39.12 - $45.00/hr.
