Material Program Manager (MPM)Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) in Tucson, Arizona. The MPM is responsible for managing Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) activities in the Naval Power Mission Area in support of the Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) production portfolio. This MPM will serve as the interface between Supply Chain and Program working on production contracts. Key responsibilities include the following: developing and implementing material strategies, material forecasting, ensuring cost and schedule requirements are met, evaluating metrics to monitor GSCM health, supplier assessments, and development/support of ROMs/proposals. This role will be heavily focused on Supplier Health and ensuring the Supply Chain is developing the capability, staffing, and production planning to meet contracted deliverables with Raytheon.What You Will Do:Drive processes to successful completion in support of an aggressive schedule of deliveries at an increasing rateIncrease operational efficiencies to ensure business area and program successOperate independently, yet readily recognize and escalate when assistance is requiredProcess strategic and tactical tasksInfluence team decisions and outcomes of other program leadersWork in a cross-functional team-oriented environment (quality, engineering, operations etc.)Manage multiple conflicting priorities with supplier managersProcess information from multiple sources to achieve a successful outcomeQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experienceExperience leading or participating in cross-functional teamsMaterial forecasting experienceQualifications We Prefer:EVMS certificationLead program management efforts, address issues, and resolve conflictsFinancial knowledge, the mechanics of strong supplier negotiations, and how to influence an acceptance in execution of cost reduction opportunitiesExperience managing suppliers or projectsExperience supporting Supplier production readiness efforts / capacity assessmentsWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
