Inventory Clerk

Under the general supervision of the Warehouse Manager/Director, performs lead inventory duties supporting the department and to the department as a member of management.

Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility, include but are not limited to):

• Checks in product as compared to purchase order worksheets.
• Ensures quality of all products received. Communicates with purchasing, as necessary.
• Stocks and rotates warehouse products.
• Delivers warehouse and direct issue product to outlets as ordered.
• Closed issue requisitions with updated quantities in SWS as needed.
• Participates, inputs, and checks physical inventories as needed.
• Complies with product instructions, such as special handling of chemicals per label specifications.
• Ensures the warehouse is safe and accessible.
• Organizes the warehouse and keeps the work area clean and orderly at times.
• Wears proper safety equipment as needed.
• Follows established safety and security policies and procedures including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions immediately to a supervisor.
• Performs facilities maintenance duties as needed.
• Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills with guests and team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential functions of the position:

• Ability to lift up to eighty (80) pounds and transport, push, pull, and maneuver items up to 2,000 pounds using specialized equipment.
• Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to reach high areas, stoop, pull, kneel, squat, twist, grip, and bend for duties.
• Must be able to work at and travel to all CDS properties.
• Must be able to follow both verbal and written directions.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that is sometimes stressful.
• Must be able to read, write, and effectively communicate with all guests and team members positively and professionally.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Skill in operating electric and manual pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
• Ability to maintain the physical stamina required, including the ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time as well as twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach objects about shoulder height.
• Ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to utilize and operate personal computers, other equipment or devices related to the position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Arizona driver's license.
• Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and special events, as needed.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening in accordance with company policy.
• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to obtain and retain a valid gaming license/background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year warehouse inventory and/or receiving experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
