In this role, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that support community growth and infrastructure development.Why PsomasShared Success: An ownership culture that rewards long-term thinking and doing what's right.Retirement Benefits : Company-funded ESOP + 401(k) with immediate match.Hybrid Flexibility : 3/2 hybrid schedule.Career Growth : Clear pathways, coaching, and leadership development.People-First Culture : Collaborative teams that invest in your development.Meaningful Work : Community-impact projects plus ways to give back.What You'll DoAs our Project Engineer / Sr. Project Engineer , you will lead and support the design and delivery of site development projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring staff.Engineering Design & Technical Leadership Lead design efforts for site development projects, including grading, roadway design, hydrology and hydraulics, utilities, and stormwater systems.Project Coordination & Delivery Organize and execute technical work across projects, ensuring quality, coordination, and alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.Plans, Reports & Documentation Prepare construction documents, plans, profiles, technical reports, calculations, cost estimates, and specifications.Agency Coordination & Approvals Represent Psomas with clients, agencies, and contractors, supporting permitting and regulatory approvals.Team Leadership & Mentorship Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Field & Client Engagement Participate in site visits, client meetings, and QA/QC processes to support project success.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplineProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona5+ years of civil engineering experience in site development, infrastructure, or public worksProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3DStrong technical experience preparing reports, designs, construction documents, specifications, and calculationsUnderstanding of project scope, schedule, and budget managementStrong communication and collaboration skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompensation: $95,000 - $135,000 annually (commensurate with experience)Incentives: Discretionary bonus and recognition programsTime Off: 3 - 4 weeks PTO plus 8 paid holidays (based on experience)Total Rewards: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family, along with employee ownership and retirement benefitsOur Hiring ApproachOur recruiting team reviews every application personally and will keep candidates informed throughout the process.
