The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with accounting software and a strong understanding of accrual-based accounting principles. This position will be responsible for managing accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR) functions, preparing, and posting journal entries, and assisting with month-end close processes and other projects as needed and assigned./ppSchedule: Part Time - Flexible/ppOn-site position in Tucson, Arizona, 85716/ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliManage the accounts payable process, including the accurate coding and timely payment of invoices./liliMaintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting policies./liliAssist with accrual-based accounting tasks, ensuring all expenses and revenues are appropriately recognized./liliPerform various reconciliations, including bank and vendor reconciliations./liliUtilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including working with VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables to streamline reporting and analysis./li/ulpRequirements:/pulliStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team./liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills./liliTechnologically adept with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliSolid AP experience/liliExperience with month-end close and general ledger functions./liliAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment./liliStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, and other advanced functions./liliSolid understanding of accrual-based accounting principles./li/ul/div
