Engineering Technician – Opto‑Electronic Systems

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to assemble, test, and support advanced opto‑electronic systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to travel globally to support customer installations and system integrations.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble, align, and test opto‑electronic and optical systems according to engineering specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Support system installation, troubleshooting, and validation at customer sites worldwide
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve assembly and performance issues
• Maintain accurate build and service documentation
• Ensure systems meet quality and safety standards

Job Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience assembling opto‑electronic systems
• Proven ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills
• Comfortable working with precision optical components
• Willing and able to travel extensively to customer sites globally
• Experience with optical alignment, lasers, or photonics systems
• Background in engineering, electronics, or a related technical field
• Experience supporting customers in field or on-site environments
