Job Details

This is an opportunity for experienced pharmacists to provide critical per diem support across multiple retail pharmacy locations in the Tucson area. You will become an essential part of a flexible, skilled team covering call-outs, vacations, and volume-driven demand spikes for a chain operating infood and pharmacy environments.

Work at any of several pharmacies strategically located throughout Tucson, offering an average daily prescription volume of 100-125. Shifts generally run Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with occasional later closing times. While hours are not guaranteed, the ideal candidate is available part-time for 2-4 days per week to help maintain seamless operations when needed.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Immunization privilege required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced settings, including pharmacist-only stores
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software a plus

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent pharmaceutical care to meet patient needs efficiently
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain smooth workflow
• Participate in a dedicated 8-hour training shift with additional training as necessary to ensure job readiness
• Support a variety of pharmacy locations, some of which require independent pharmacist operation
