Minimum Requirements An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology. State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in the practicing state. Certification by the NMTCB or ARRT(N) preferred. (Preferred) BLS certification. 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital or similar acute care setting. Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating gamma cameras, SPECT, or PET imaging systems.
