Job Title: Assembly Operator

Job Description

The Assembly Operator role is responsible for assembling and inspecting electrical components for Power Distribution Units. This position involves assembling Power Distribution Units and other electricalcomponents according to specifications, as well as assembling cables, harnesses, and electronic and electro-mechanical test equipment to engineering specifications. Additional responsibilities include replacing and removing electrical components on PDUs or repairing units when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Power Distribution Units and other electrical components per specifications.

• Assemble cables, harnesses, electronic and electro-mechanical test equipment to engineering specifications.

• Replace and remove electrical components on PDUs or repair units when needed.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of experience in assembly with an emphasis on mechanical aspects.

• Experience using basic hand tools.

• Ability to stand for 8 hours.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and work safely.

• Ability to read and write to comply with written instructions and complete departmental paperwork.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a first shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
