Job Details

Purpose: Living with HIV speakers present to faith communities, volunteer trainees, and other groups about the realities of living with HIV and explain how TIHAN has impacted your life. This position requires travel to destinations in the Tucson metro area.

Specific Tasks: Speak about living with HIV in group settings such as trainings, orientations, and meetings.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Time Commitment: 2-4 hours/month (varies)

Qualifications: must be 18 or older; general background check; must be comfortable speaking about HIV status with variety of audiences

Desired Attributes: strong communication skills; flexibility

Training: volunteer orientation; speakers & media training; one-on-one introduction to program
