Administrator — Fair Start Movement

Role Overview

Administrators at Fair Start Movement are care-takers of the work behind the scenes. They help keep things flowing smoothly so the movement can stay grounded in its mission of equity, dignity, and justice.

This role is about support, trust, and follow-through—making sure communication is clear, records are well kept, and people feel supported as they contribute their time, energy, and ideas. Administrators help create the structure that allows justice work to thrive without burning people out.

This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys organization, values integrity, and believes that how we work together matters just as much as what we do.

What You'll Help With

As an Administrator, you may help by:

• • Keeping meetings, schedules, and communications organized and accessible
  • Maintaining records and documentation in a clear and responsible way
  • Supporting the onboarding and coordination of volunteers and partners
  • Assisting with basic reporting and accountability needs
  • Managing emails, forms, and internal tools with care and confidentiality
  • Following up on tasks and supporting leadership with coordination
  • Helping ensure our systems and decisions reflect Fair Start's values of fairness, inclusion, and justice

You won't be expected to do everything at once—tasks are shared, paced, and guided by mutual respect.
