Position Overview: As a Store Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure shopping environment for both associates and customers. Your presence will help deter theft and fraud. You will warmly greet customers and monitor store activities to uphold safety standards while ensuring loss prevention compliance.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; AA degree preferred
• One year of retail supervisory experience or equivalent training preferred
• One year of loss prevention/security training preferred
• Active Security Guard License preferred
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships within the store team
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proven conflict resolution skills
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for security roles, including background screening and drug testing

Physical Requirements:

• Reliability and Regular Attendance
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods
• Capability to lift or move objects weighing more than 25 lbs.
• Regular bending, stooping, or crouching as needed
• Other qualifications and skills may be required for specific assignments
