Requirement/Must Have:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of directly related histology experience.
• Ability to follow operating procedures and work in a regulated environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend.

• Experience with foundational histotechniques including embedding, microtomy, coverslipping, processing, and primary staining.
• Experience operating laboratory or manufacturing equipment.
• Experience working in a high-volume laboratory or manufacturing environment.

• Perform routine histotechniques including tissue sectioning and staining.
• Assist with embedding, microtomy, coverslipping, processing, and staining under guidance.
• Monitor and prepare bulk reagents.
• Follow standard operating procedures and detailed work instructions.
• Accurately document all tasks and laboratory transactions.
• Maintain quality and safety standards and escalate issues as needed.
• Identify and report safety hazards, incidents, and near misses.
• Support continuous improvement activities and participate in team meetings.
• Maintain daily records and support workplace organization activities.
• Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to meet operational goals.

• Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement or lean practices.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
