Assists customers with the purchase of retail products and provides product information and support to new parents and other retail customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Sells the organizations products and services by interaction with established customers and developing new prospects; calls existing or potential customers, resolves and/or refers customer problems to appropriate department; resolves routine product or service problems to ensure customer satisfaction. Routes inquires to other departments for their particular reply. Keeps informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers. Maintains accurate sales and inventory levels; reconciles book inventories with physical count; inventories user storage areas and replenish inventory as needed. Works with retail manager concerning product changes and inventory problems; informs retail manager of all products no longer being requested by users.
