POSITION SUMMARY: Mortgage Loan Originator will have extensive contact with customers, vendors, the public, and bank staff and will interact in a professional and courteous manner and conduct him/herself in such relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall efficiency and image of the bank. This position is primarily responsible for increasing branch referrals and outside sales by generating residential mortgage loans through solicitation of individual borrowers, real estate brokers, builders, and developers. They are also responsible for taking a residential mortgage loan application and offers or negotiates terms of a residential mortgage, residential construction, and residential land/lot loans.
