The Medical Assistants function is to provide direct care to clinic patients and assist providers (Physicians, Physician Assistants, Family Nurse Practitioners) in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Arizona Medical Board and UCHC policies and procedures. Position may support multiple work sites and require valid drivers license and vehicle insurance as well as reliable means of transportation. Requirements Essential Functions. Assists the provider with patients before, during and after visit while maintaining smooth patient flow. Greet Patients and instructs in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner. Prepare patient for examination, treatment and assists physician with exam/procedure when needed while applying the principles of aseptic technique and infection control.
