Lead a High-Performing Team in Aerospace & Defense
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Production Team Lead for Quartz Sensors in Tucson, AZ. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide a skilled, dynamic team, drive production excellence, and play a key role in delivering critical products for commercial, general aviation, and military applications.
What You'll Bring
Supervisor experience: 6+ years leading teams, preferably managing 10+ employees
Manufacturing experience: 10+ years in electronics manufacturing (aerospace/defense preferred)
Candidates with 3-5 years of supervisory experience and 5+ years of manufacturing experience are also considered, particularly for emerging team lead roles
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate a tenured, diverse team
Ability to coordinate resources, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure high-quality, on-time production
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of 10+ employees, managing performance, attendance, and development
Coordinate daily production schedules and resources to meet goals
Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions
Maintain safety, quality, and continuous improvement standards
Occasionally perform hands-on work to support production needs
Manage controllable operating expenses (scrap, consumables)
