Ensures products are accurately prepared for pickup or delivery, secured for transport, and handled in a safe, efficient, and dependable manner./ppMajor Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities/pulliLoads, unloads, sorts, picks, stocks, stages, and transports materials throughout the warehouse and yard./liliPrepares items for shipment or customer pickup by securely packaging materials using shrink wrap, strapping, or other protective methods./liliVerifies product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping./liliInstalls protective devices such as bracing or padding to prevent damage during transport./liliOperates forklifts or other material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently./liliMaintains a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures./liliAssists customers, installers, or subcontractors by fulfilling orders or locating materials./liliMay drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed./li/ulpNature and Scope/pulliSelects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor./liliUnder close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior coworker and/or supervisor./liliNone./li/ulpWork Environment/pulliTypically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes./liliAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
