As a warm and welcoming Host, you are the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in setting the tone for their dining experience. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to manage reservations and guest flow contribute to a seamless and memorable visit that reflects the excellence of our brand.
Guest-Focused Communicator: You greet guests with genuine warmth and professionalism, making them feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Organized and Attentive: You manage reservations, waitlists, and seating charts with precision, ensuring smooth service and minimal wait times. Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival. Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the hotel's reservation system. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus. Communicate estimated wait times and accommodate special seating requests when possible. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area. Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries regarding hours, menus, and reservations. Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction. Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating plans as needed. Assist with guest recovery and resolve minor concerns with empathy and professionalism. Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Regular and reliable attendance in conformance with company standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or restaurant hosting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and demeanor. Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the restaurant. TIPS alcohol-service certification
