The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, College of Medicine Tucson at the University of Arizona, is seeking a qualified applicant for a full-time Research Engineer Technician II position. This individual will perform research, technical, and computational laboratory duties and assist in human and animal biomechanics studies. These duties include designing and engineering custom biomedical instrumentation sensors for nerve stimulation and recording of muscle-tendon mechanics during in situ and in vivo experiments, and developing 3D kinematic and kinetic tracking of the body during in vivo experiments for whole-body and limb mechanical analyses. The Research Engineer Technician II will also assist with mentoring and training undergraduate/graduate students in the laboratory.
