Staff4Me is on the lookout for a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to enhance our engineering team. This role requires a deep understanding of high voltage transmission lines, along with substantial experience in design, analysis, and project management. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and reliable delivery of power through our transmission projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze transmission line systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct load-flow and fault analysis, providing insights to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Prepare comprehensive design reports, specifications, and technical documentation for project implementation.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, regulatory bodies, and construction teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers in design methodologies and best practices.
• Review and critique designs and calculations submitted by engineering staff.
• Identify and resolve design and execution issues throughout project lifecycles.
• Stay current with advancements in transmission technology and infrastructure development trends.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in transmission line engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with design analysis software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, or equivalent tools.
• Strong knowledge of transmission line construction techniques and materials.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
