Job Description
Our client is a recognized Facade organization with a proven track record of success. If you are a dynamic Estimator with strong glass and glazing or facade estimating experience, and a passion for success, We are very interested in speaking with you. All other trades will NOT be considered.
Qualifications and Experienced Required:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating curtain wall and storefront systems for commercial, residential, or institutional projects.
- Proven track record of successfully bidding and estimating projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of curtain wall and storefront systems, materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in reading architectural drawings, specifications, and conducting quantity takeoffs.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents to prepare comprehensive estimates.
- Identify and quantify materials, labor, and equipment required for each project.
- Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
- Analyze project requirements and develop cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure accurate estimating and pricing.
- Prepare and submit bids and proposals in accordance with project deadlines.
- Assist in negotiating contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documents.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and developments to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
