As a Principal Logistics Specialist, you will contribute to a fast-paced innovative team and work closely with Property and Logistics functional management, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Logistics, suppliers, contracts and other functions that support the Raytheon property system. You will collaborate with these functions to coordinate Property Disposition and Warehouse Management activities related to storing and dispositioning Raytheon, Government and/or Customer Property as required by company policies, Federal/State Regulations, and Contractual terms and conditions. This role will administer and/or maintain aspects of the Property Management System including support of multiple property lifecycle areas (i.e., acquisition, receiving, identification, utilization, maintenance, inventory, subcontractor control, relief of stewardship or contract closure).

What You Will Do
  • Be the primary contact for all matters concerning Storing and Disposition management of assets to include Special Test Equipment, Equipment, Special Tooling and Material
  • Submitting Government Property Inventory Disposal Schedules to DCMA and/or Prime Contractors
  • Coordinating Disposal Activities with DCMA and/or Prime Contractors
  • Coordinating Raytheon Capital Disposal Activities with Raytheon Capital Finance
  • Consistently display effective communication and strong professional behaviors
  • Delivery of training and awareness materials tailored to audiences such as program leadership, engineering, lab management and other functional organizations
  • Support a culture of improvement and efficiency into the Logistics / Property organization driving innovative solutions and affordability
  • Project participant in initiatives to elevate the organization
  • Support compliance with all regulations and internal/external audit protocols
  • Identifying bottlenecks based on metrics that drive and/or affect the property system
  • Daily interaction with other teams, programs, and Business Units to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives
  • Collaborate for continuous learning and sharing with other individuals within the organization to continuously raise business and property acumen
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years' experience
  • Experience with either Government Property Asset Management, Property, Operations, and or Supply Chain.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Working knowledge of SAP (APEX, PRISM), cPDM, and Property system (i.e., SPS)
  • Experience using Government reporting systems i.e. WAWF, PIEE, and established role as a GFP Contractor Property Manger
  • Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of database architecture and management
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), disclosure statements and Sarbanes Oxley

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
