OVERVIEW

Performs cleaning, sanitizing, minor building maintenance, and light landscaping duties for program sites. Position may from time to time be stressful and require a high demand of performance. May perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Empties trash cans and cleans, as needed
• Sweeps, vacuums, and mops offices and common areas, as necessary or per schedule
• Cleans and/or sanitizes toilets, sinks, counters, and mirrors in restrooms and kitchen area, as necessary or per schedule
• Cleans walls and doors in common areas, as necessary or per schedule
• Performs deep cleaning in bathrooms, in offices designated and in conference rooms
• Cleans blinds and windows
• Cleans kitchen to include microwave, refrigerator, floors, walls, and trash area

MINIMUM AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Suitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills in order to meet minimum requirements of the position and will be considered by the Executive Director of Human Resources.

• High School Diploma or GED (experience may be substituted for education requirements)
• Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and reach
• Ability to lift 25 pounds 10% of the time

REGULATORY

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to obtain and maintain Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and FBI National Criminal Records History Report (employer paid)
• Pass pre-employment drug screen (incudes marijuana, regardless of recreational use laws) (employer paid)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year of custodial and/or maintenance experience
