The Groundskeepers I performs unskilled and semi-skilled landscaping duties for the Tribal Government grounds. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for assisting in the overall maintenance of landscaped areas throughout Tribal Government facilities and grounds. Provide general care of trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass. Maintain irrigation drip systems; removes trash and debris for assigned areas. Note any damage or hazards, repair minor damage and correct hazardous conditions. Remove weeds from planted areas; treat, condition soil, and plant in accordance with established schedules. Replace defective or broken drip system heads, remove obstructions from drip system components and make minor adjustments to valves, heads and controls. Operate power mowers, chain saws, power clippers, rollers, spreaders, and similar equipment. Provide burial services for the community.
