Your ideas are our fuel.The Material Handler will receive and inspect incoming and outgoing materials; order and distribute materials. Maintain inventory of purchased and manufactured parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment.In your role, you will:Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions)Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all work in a safe and timely mannerReceive / visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage (BAS Only)Distribute parts, materials, tools, and ground support equipment with regard to aircraft delivery schedules. May assist in ordering parts if required (BAS only)Verify and reconcile appropriate documentation on incoming and outgoing parts and materialsMaintain accurate inventory (via cycle counts, perpetual, work-in-progress) using computerized / manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.Assist in loading / unloading shipmentsTransport and stock materials from one location to another as required throughout the facilityProvide verbal or written turnovers for oncoming shiftsIssue hand tools, machine tools, dies and / or rental equipment to authorized personnelPerform other duties as assignedHow to thrive in this role?You will have 0 - 2 years' experience in one of the following:o Warehouseo Shipping / Receivingo Tool CribYou have a valid Driver's LicenseYou have Customer Service ExperienceYou can multi-taskYou can work under pressureYou can work in a fast-paced environmentYou have working knowledge of MS OfficeYou have basic knowledge of SAP (or Syteline for Commercial)You have previous experience in the aviation industryYou have previous experience in material handlingYou have previous Forklift qualifiedYou have export shipping experienceYou have Hazmat CertificationNow that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!Bombardier is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
