The primary purpose of this position is to transport and process aircraft reclamation material. Accomplish all aircraft movements between receiving, storage areas, and major work sites. Operate tugs and tractors, and perform various tasks outlined in technical orders pertaining to long term storage procedures. Responsibilities include Aircraft Movement and Tie Down operations. Serves as a senior Nose Walker / Tow Team directing aircraft towing. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on the quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. The screen out element for this position is Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision.

Works primarily outside and is exposed to all kinds of weather conditions, vibrations, and jolts from the tractor and towed equipment. Exposed to dust, dirt, grease, and/or fumes. Follows prescribed safety practices and uses safety equipment to avoid injury and possible hazards in the work area. Works in rough terrain, and may be subject to injury from falls or overturned tractors and equipment.
