As a Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Resource Industries division, leading transformative initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes for our customers.
In this role, you will develop and execute mid- to long-term business strategies for the Mining Center of Excellence, working closely with partners across the organization. You will be responsible for strategic support of the entire mining portfoliocovering machines, aftermarket and solutionsand ensure every element aligns with our broader organizational goals.

You will understand how organizations work, have strong commercial acumen, and ideally bring experience in mining and dealer networks. You won't have direct reports, so your ability to lead through influence is essential. This role demands personality, confidence, and the drive to put strategy into action.

Decision Making: Demonstrated ability to coordinate resources, timelines, and budgets across multiple functions to drive cross-functional execution. Project management skills are essential for this role.
Customer Focus: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
Top candidates will also have:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, Engineering.
Knowledge of PINS, aftermarket and services reporting, including experience with BIC and S&OP processes.
Familiarity with program management processes, LEAN and/or 6 Sigma
Familiarity with business planning processes and tools and ability to build Power BI dashboards and streamline reporting through advanced data visualization tools.
The primary work location for this role is Tucson, AZ, with a requirement to work on-site full-time at a Caterpillar facility.
Domestic relocation assistance is available.
This position may require up to 10 -20 % travel.

Summary Pay Range: $156,000.00 - $234,000.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
