The Assistant City Prosecutor position in the Criminal Division of the City Attorney's Office prepares cases for all phases of misdemeanor prosecution. Performs professional level legal prosecution work involving research, trials, appeals, and other activities related to criminal prosecution.
Work is performed under the supervision of senior and experienced attorneys. This position does not supervise.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Juris Doctorate Member in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona
License/Certifications: A valid and unrestricted driver's license with two (2) years of licensed driving is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Recent criminal law experience which may include: A certificate in Criminal Law and Policy or Participation in related law school clinical program Recent litigation or judicial law clerk experience
