The base salary range for this position is $52,600.00 - $86,800.00. This range reflects national market trends and will be adjusted based on factors such as the role's complexity, location, and the candidate's qualifications. Alongside a competitive salary, we offer performance-based cash incentives.

This position is for claims servicing in the areas surrounding Chantilly, Fairfax, Sterling, Manassas, and Springfield. The ideal candidate must either reside in these regions or be willing to relocate independently. As an entry-level role, you will undergo essential training to progress to an Outside Property Claim Professional. Your focus will be on building skills for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and finalizing claims of lower complexity. You will ensure quality handling throughout the claims lifecycle, complying with both internal and external standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete a structured training program that includes online, virtual, classroom, and hands-on learning, which may involve travel.
  • Manage first-party property claims of moderate complexity, establishing accurate damage scopes for buildings and contents.
  • Utilize cutting-edge technologies to enhance claims processing.
  • Evaluate facts to assess coverage, damages, and liabilities related to property claims, including necessary documentation.
  • Maintain timely and accurate claim reserves and determine appropriate settlement amounts using various evaluation methods.
  • Negotiate and communicate settlements within the established authority limits.
  • Prepare denial letters and other complex correspondences.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and manage claim files effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Report potential fraudulent claims and refer significant cases to the management team.
  • Attend legal proceedings as needed.
  • Assist in additional administrative duties as necessary.
  • Be prepared to conduct physical inspections of properties, which may include climbing ladders and entering tight spaces.

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or two years of work experience related to customer service.
  • Strong ownership mentality and a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • A valid passport for potential travel obligations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience, or a Bachelor's Degree.
  • A valid driver's license.
