Local nonprofit organization is searching for a temporary Warehouse Cleaning Associate.
Hours: 7am-3pm
Pay Rate: $20/hr

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs routine cleaning tasks in all areas of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and disinfecting floors, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. Uses approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces.
• Cleans and maintains floors using manual and powered cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
• Wipes down surfaces, dusting, cleaning windows and ensures machinery is clean.
• Operates cleaning tools and equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Ensures all waste is properly sorted, disposed of, and recycled according to company policies and environmental regulations.
• Maintains records related to sanitation and food safety programs as required.
• Monitors and replenishes cleaning supplies, reporting any needs to management.
• Conducts regular safety checks and identify potential hazards, reporting them promptly.
• Adheres to all health and safety protocols, properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and company guidelines at all times.
• Collaborates with warehouse team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• One (1) year of experience with sanitation standards and procedures in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
• Knowledge working in a sanitation, cleaning, or warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Basic understanding of sanitation practices and cleaning chemicals.
• Skills in operating cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, scrubbers and buffers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Ability to take directions, ask clarifying questions, and execute assignments.
• Ability to handle interruptions, maintain a focus on tasks and produce timely and accurate work.
• Ability to work with people from diverse economic, social, and political backgrounds.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• Must possess a current Arizona Driver's License with a safe driving record

• Bilingual in English and Spanish- preferred

• Heavy Work - which involves lifting no more than 100 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
