Beztak is looking to hire a Housekeeper to join our team. This position is responsible for cleanliness in all aspects of the community, including resident units and common areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for providing a beautiful, clean, and sanitary environment for all areas of the community.
• Responsible for assisting in unit turns to be new-resident ready.
• Assists with tasks to provide high levels of resident satisfaction, such as laundry or other tasks which may be assigned.
• Ensures proper use and care of all equipment to maintain cleanliness and a well-maintained community.
• Must be able to identify and then either correct or report safety hazards.
• Reports supply and equipment needs to supervisor before replenishing.
• Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle to perform job duties. Must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes.
• Working in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, having effective interpersonal skills.

PERSONAL QUALITIES:

• Have a caring and positive demeanor when interacting with residents and family members
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to identify issues before they occur

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

• One-year experience in the professional cleaning industry
• Exceptional customer service skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires frequent Sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Exposure to dust, dirt, pollen, debris, cleaning agents, paint fumes, construction or repair-related odors and other airborne particles.
• Occasional exposure to blood borne pathogens or other potentially infectious material. You may also periodically be confined to a vehicle.
• This position typically operates indoors in an air-conditioned office, with a mixture of natural, incandescent and fluorescent light.
• You may be exposed to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and snow is common. May occasionally be exposed to extreme conditions, including high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and heavy rain while performing outdoor tasks.
