Primary responsibilities include:
Stand to greet every visitor with enthusiasm and promptness. Verify all visitors are authorized for entry, log vehicle information quickly and accurately. Enter RFID tags for homeowners and make parking passes, as needed, in accordance with community rules. Answer phone calls and accommodate owners who stop by the gatehouse for assistance. Must have basic computer skills, be able to multi-task and exhibit excellent customer service in all circumstances.
Accommodating schedule requests/preferences is not guaranteed. Must be available to train Monday - Friday in the AM hours. Shifts include overnight: 10pm - 6am or 11pm - 7am. Paid training: Probation period for all new hires. Floater positions work at multiple locations with varying shifts. Floaters will be asked to fill in for callouts - schedule can change with short notice. All new employees must pass a drug urinalysis ($30-$45 paid by you). Reimbursement is available, by separate check, the month following the successful completion of 2 full pay cycles (restrictions for reimbursement apply).
Requirements:
Reliable transportation to and from work is a must. Dependability. Attention to detail. Basic computer skills. Friendly and professional at all times. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to move from seated position to standing position repeatedly. Able to comprehend and recall specific protocol for multiple communities. Strong communication skills for effective interactions with homeowners, vendors and visitors. Position includes all shifts: early morning, midday, evening and overnight. Some gatehouses are open 24 hours a day.
