Engineer Systems Specialist (Contract - Onsite)
Location: Onsite at client site
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday
About the Role
We're seeking a motivated Engineer Systems Specialist to join our client's innovative engineering team. In this role, you'll apply a deep understanding of design principles and system integration to support the development, testing, and optimization of complex engineering systems. This position involves hands-on collaboration across disciplines to enhance design performance, troubleshoot system issues, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles and technical expertise to design, analyze, and optimize complex systems and components.
  
• Participate in design concept generation, design reviews, and system testing to ensure performance aligns with specifications.
  
• Conduct reliability testing and assess system interactions to identify opportunities for improvement.
  
• Support the development and refinement of manufacturing processes, helping troubleshoot and identify root causes for performance or reliability issues.
  
• Contribute to the development of innovative, patentable concepts and assist in documenting intellectual property.
  
• Evaluate and interpret data to make informed engineering decisions within established procedures and guidelines.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and present findings in team meetings.
  
• Continuously promote Quality First Time principles to ensure high standards in all deliverables.
  
• Suggest improvements to streamline engineering workflows and processes.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project and departmental goals.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1-3 years of professional experience in engineering, systems design, or product development.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline) required.
  
• Strong understanding of engineering design, testing, and system integration principles.
  
• Hands-on experience working with laboratory or testing equipment (preferred but not required).
  
• Familiarity with technical literature searches and research methods.
  
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other presentation tools.
  
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  
• A collaborative and self-motivated individual with a commitment to quality, integrity, and continuous learning.
