Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Tucson, AZ
Compensation: $71,400 - $105,000 per year (Full-time, Exempt)

Overview

We're working with a growing manufacturing company that is adding a Manufacturing Engineer to their team due to expansion. This is a full-time, onsite role in Tucson, AZ, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and working alongside a team of three engineers. The position does not include direct reports but offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on production efficiency and system optimization.

Responsibilities

• Improve efficiency and output by aligning engineering expertise with ERP-driven production processes ( Epicor ERP).
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and implement process improvements.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and IT to implement system and process changes.
• Support capital equipment purchases and evaluate plant layouts for efficiency.
• Participate in projects from concept through implementation with a focus on timely delivery.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 2+ years' experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• 2+ years' experience working with ERP systems (Epicor strongly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing best practices.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams.

Preferred:

• Experience with SQL or data analysis tools.
• CAD software experience (SolidWorks preferred).

Details

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-3pm or 7am-4pm, with occasional overtime or Saturdays.
• Relocation: Available.
• Hiring Process: Two interviews.
• Environment: Onsite in Tucson manufacturing plants (warehouse/production setting).
