Job Description:
The Product Support Engineer will play a key role in supporting the development and enhancement of industrial technology solutions through New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) initiatives. This position involves technical validation, defect analysis, customer support, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high product quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for new products.
• Validate form, fit, and function of newly developed systems and components.
• Collaborate with engineering and testing teams to ensure readiness for deployment.
Continuous Product Improvement (CPI)
• Investigate and analyze defects in existing production systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Integrate customer feedback into product enhancement strategies.
Customer & Field Support
• Provide advanced technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Triage escalations and assist in restoring production systems.
• Occasionally visit field sites for validation and troubleshooting (PPE provided).
Project Coordination
• Manage timelines and deliverables for NPI/CPI projects.
• Work closely with global teams to ensure alignment and execution.
Required Skills:
