Supplemental Health Care is seeking skilled Radiation Therapists to fill a contract opportunity at a partnering Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. Qualifications:
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
* Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (T).
* Active state license, if required by Arizona.
* Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
* 1-2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
Radiation Therapist Contract Details:
* $2,420 - $2,621 per week
* 12-week contract, with possibility of extension
* 40 hours per week
* Hospital setting
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
* Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver safe, effective treatments.
* Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary while maintaining detailed records.
* Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology nurses to ensure quality patient care.
* Provide patient education, reassurance, and support throughout the treatment process.
* Maintain compliance with all safety standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
