Description:

Manufacturing Planner

Provide planning, scheduling, transactional buying support to Paragon, coordinating and monitoring the production and inventory requirements through the manufacturing processes in order to support overall demand.

Coordinate with manufacturing engineers to translate comprehensive production plans into factory travelers in adherence to AS9100 standards utilizing MRP software (E2).

Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of manufacturing process releases and approvals.

Coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of required materials and resources in accordance with drawing and instructional Bill of Materials.

Analyze production scheduled releases, identify potential bottlenecks, and notify the production scheduler for optimized workflow, and to inform Make vs Buy decisions.

Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality management system throughout the manufacturing process based on quality flow down requirements.

Collaborate with engineering and design teams to interpret technical specifications and incorporate them into production plans.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency and quality standards.

Maintain accurate documentation of production plans, schedules, and changes.

Continuously improve planning processes to enhance overall efficiency and reduce lead times.

Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to uphold AS9100 certification.

5 years' experience of planning in an aerospace manufacturing setting, or related field.

Proven experience in manufacturing planning within an AS9100 certified environment.

Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and specifications.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Proficiency in using manufacturing planning software and tools, E2 is a plus.

Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Must be US citizen or permanent resident.

Bachelor's degree in Production and Operations Management or related field is preferred; associate degree and/or equivalent experience in production planning acceptable.

At least 5 years experience in procurement, preferably in the aerospace industry.
