For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM)Basic Qualifications:* Must be 18 years of age or older* No experience required and on the job training provided* No high school diploma, GED or college degree required* Customer service experienceMinimum (5) years of floor care experience highly preferred including application of floor finish, stripper, use of side by side and wet vacs.Responsibilities:* Completes assigned stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning of floors.* Assists with special projects within the account as needed. Willing to complete other duties as assigned.* Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems* Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.* Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities* Floor Tech must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.* Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.* Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties* May be expected to make basic repairs* Must be able to lift up to 50# at least 25% of the timeA good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
