IT Subject Matter Expert

As an IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) at CGS, you will provide expertise in application and systems software to a variety of key stakeholders. You will undertake an analysis of complex hardware, software, and telecommunication systems to help define processes and procedures for use cases across departments. You will assist with and consult on the design, development, documentation, and delivery of standard operating procedures, presentations, and insight/training materials to a wide range of audiences. A successful candidate for this position must possess a high degree of technical experience and performance in situations requiring a broad range of knowledge and skills.

Skills and attributes for success:

1. Assess and, as necessary, re-define procedures and/or standards using your knowledge and best practices.
2. Work with a wide range of key stakeholders and system users to enhance understanding of agency systems.
3. Coordinate program goals, requirements, performance analysis, and innovation projects with IT and Business experts.
4. Provide recommendations for improvements in IT systems and other business ventures.
5. Develop procedures, manuals, and other documentation for process and technology needs.
6. Define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced.
7. Support the operation and maintenance of complex IT systems.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. 5+ years' experience in OBIEE, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
3. Must be a US Citizen.
4. Must be able to obtain a clearance.
5. Knowledge of data governance, data management, data modeling, data cleansing, data extraction and transformation, data analysis, data migration, data integration, and data mapping.
6. 7+ years of experience with PL/SQL.
7. Experience with Agile Methodology is highly desired.
8. Experience with Data Analytics tools (i.e.: ADVANA) is highly desired.
9. Experience with a UNIX OS is highly desired.
10. Experience with Java is highly desired.
11. Experience with SFTO is highly desired.
12. Experience with APEX is highly desired.
