About the role:
The D2 Dispensary's Cultivation facility is looking to add dedicated full-time Packaging Technicians to our growing team! Our Packaging Technicians perform day-to-day product packaging operations with a primary responsibility over finished product packaging. The packaging technician is responsible for operating equipment and performing tasks such as weighing, packaging, and labeling a variety of marijuana and cannabis products. Every day is a different challenge, and you will be looked at to ensure the highest consistent quality of work. The packaging technician is expected to be a team player with a high initiative to work independently in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Processing product packaging for various fulfillment teams, including flower, pre-roll, concentrates, and edibles.
- Preparing materials for packaging, including measuring and organizing, labeling containers, and inspecting for quality.
- Packaging all product, including assembling, labeling, and sealing all goods for distribution.
- Maintaining inventory counts of all product and packaging materials.
- Performing quality checks on all product being packaged and end goods ready for distribution.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
- Additional duties as assigned.

You should also have: - Must be 21 years of age and pass a criminal background check.
- HS Diploma/GED required.
- Previous work experience required.
- Experience in warehouse, packaging, distribution, or similar role, preferred.
- Knowledge of Arizona marijuana laws and regulations or willingness to learn.
- Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of AZDHS, HIPAA, and Arizona State.
- ServSafe certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Physical requirements: - Operating machinery and/or power tools.
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
- Repetitive motion that may include wrists, hands, or fingers.
- Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds.
Hours: Full Time 40 hour/week, open availability

(b) A violation of a state or federal controlled substance law that was classified as a felony in the jurisdiction where the person was convicted but does not include:
(i) An offense for which the sentence, including any term of probation, incarceration or supervised release, was completed ten or more years earlier.
(ii) An offense involving conduct that would be immune from arrest, prosecution, or penalty under section 36-2811 except that the conduct occurred before the effective date of this chapter or was prosecuted by an authority other than the state of Arizona
