Job Summary:

Ally Waste is hiring for the exciting Junk Hauler / Bulk Tech position which is a fundamental role to deliver our waste support services to the apartment communities we serve.

The role consists of loading furniture and other bulky items to a truck and trailer and hauling it to the landfill, while also redistributing trash flow, cleaning up around dumpsters and compactors, and maintaining detailed reports. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Using a company truck, drive to 20-25 properties daily on assigned route
• Check in, take photos, and document bulky items/furniture at each property using our proprietary app
• Sweep up around each dumpster or compactor
• Break down large boxes and ensure proper recycling practices are being followed
• Where necessary, move trash bags from one dumpster to another to eliminate overflowing trash
• Load heavy items to the truck using stacking techniques
• Haul items to the assigned landfill
• Work quickly and efficiently to complete route before waste hauler arrives

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 75-100 lbs at a time
• Must be able to get in and out of truck dozens of times throughout the shift
• Must be able to move quickly using a broom and dust pan
• Must be able to operate a vehicle safely for 8+ hours at a time
• Must be able to work the early shift of 2 AM to 10 AM

Driving Requirement:

• Driver's license and driving record in good standing

• $18-$22 per hour based on experience
